Does any one here carry in a vest, I know of all the talk of "first to get shot" etc. but it sure seems like a convenient way to carry. Especially one with deep slit pockets.

A vest warms the major veins and arteries of the torso that are closer to the skin. As a result, your extremities stay warmer. Have you ever wondered why vests still seem to remain popular even today...especially with people who are in the outdoors a lot? That's why.I never understood the point of vests. If my torso is cold, my extremeties are even colder. I own no vests, and have no plans to buy any.
...it's a Filson vest.
