saw this on Shooting USA on the outdoor channel. they were at the shot show and even went over to a range and shot a few guns. one was the new M&P22. recorded this on my phone.

I saw this pistol at the NRA show in Pittsburgh and it felt like the M&P 9mm I have with the medium grip. Nice gun. S&W rep told me to look for it in September.

The way I figure it...either S&W is brilliantly creating pent-up demand for the M&P 22 or there is a problem with the gun and they are trying to work it out before its release. What say you?

I've been hearing "end of the month" for the past 3 months. Last word I heard was the first of July.

Looks like S&W pulled a "Ruger" on the public, show something at Shot Show and then wait until the next year to actually release it.

Guess I 'll just go ahead and buy the Sig Mosquito instead.

I never understood giving up on waiting for a great product. do you need it so immensely fast that you cannot contain yourself to buy something? Or are you getting vengence by switching your purchase to another company? I have alot of friends like this and I think thats just a really silly attitude. Nothing personal against you just pointing it out.

As for the video that looks like recoil is non-existant, you could probably get off 20 rounds in a couple seconds at most.
