Walking locking bolt pin…

What’s the proper way to fix a walking locking bolt pin? Took my 629 to the range today. At the end of my session, I noticed the locking bolt pin hanging way out one side. What’s the proper way to stake, or whatever, the thing?

Remove it......Put just the slightest bend in it and reinstall....Problem solved.
