I have heard from different employes at the same store, that they stock early morning, and that they stock after lunch...you get a different answer each person you talk to it seems. Last week I went there at 4:30 pm, got .22 lr, .223, and a m&p 15-22 they were just checking in.

I'm Just curious cause the attendants always say its stocked in the morning and gone in the morning most of the time or very little left.

The old timer I talked to said he stocks in the morning and enjoys watching everyone come in and get excited to see stuff in stock. He sold me 3 boxes of 5.56.

I just scored 650 rounds of Federal Auto Match for around $27 two nights ago. The girl was stocking CCI Mini Mag HP for $6.79/100. You just have to time it right. The store I was in has a three box limit. Doesn't matter if you are buying 100 round boxes or 325 round boxes.

Yea WM here went to a 3 limit also...

My local Wally told me they stock about 7AM. I have been there just after 7 & saw that they do stock then but not what I am looking for.

Mike

I have gotten there around 9am and they had some ammo, 357, 22 Federal bulk pack and some .45. It didn't last long though. The stepson went out to get some a half hour later and it was gone.

It clearly varies. I was told in one of my local WMs to check at 7:30pm. At another WM I was told to check at like 7:00am or some such like some of you guys say. Who knows...

That's the same here. They won't put it (what "we're" after), out until 7:A and it's always gone before 9:A. 3 limit on anything. Comes in at night, stocked the next morning on the same,3 different days of the week. IF,you manage to get on the good side of one of the (actually likes their job),and enjoys their work employees... They can scan and see what is actually coming in for stock. It's nice knowing if it's worth getting up that early or not and saving some gas money.

One of my WM stores stocks about 5 PM but it depends on when the truck arrives, gets unloaded and stock checked in before it comes out of the back. Dept managers dont really care how many people are looking for stuff as that does not figure into their priorities when time and available manpower are the key to stocking. Ammo and guns can be first or last depending on many factors.

I wish my Walmart would stock anything. There are always pallets on the floor and God forbid you ask someone if you can get anything off of one. I have stopped by my Walmart everyday since Thanksgiving on my way to work and it is the same three boxes of 410 shells that have been on the shelves. And good luck finding someone that actually knows what's going on around here.

My local wal mart says 7AM. Went last Saturday at 1:30pm, nothing on the shelf. Went back at 9:30 to get some dog food the wife forgot. Checked and there was a full brick of CCI .22 WMR on the shelf nothing else. Got my 3 box limit.
Stopped at one on the way home last night and found nothing on the shelf. An associate asked if I needed anything; I asked about .223, .22lr and .22 WMR. She opened a brick of .22 WMR and let me have my 3 box limit, this was 1AM. She said I will let you have it now because there is a group that comes in each morning and buys what they put out. Thinking about going back just to see who is there to buy ammo. Bill

The manager of the sporting goods department at my Walmart has them put the ammo out at 7:00 AM and because it sells so fast they don't even put it away they leave it on the counter and have a sales person stand there mand they and let each person buy 3 boxes of what they have.

The area behind the counter at 6:45am was stacked high with boxes, saw 12g, .40, and .38 special, I know there was tons more, just couldn't read all the boxes in the pile obviously. Couldn't find anyone to help and had to be at work at 7. Bummer.
