Walmart

Living rural I'm sort of in the middle of 3 different shopping areas. All have a Walmart. The average distance to any is about 25 miles.

One of the Wallies is close to a small city that has a large population of one group. Its common to hear more Spanish than English when the crews talk among themselves. They are quite good at jumping into English when dealing with a lot of the customers. Good hard working people and most are multilingual!

As said we can go three ways so most times the tie breaker is what other stores do we wish to go into as all areas do not have the same business. Same deal if we are shopping at lunch/dinner time. That can determine where we go for that day.

I think there were some guys in Germany in the 30's that said the same thing. The problem with your premise is that you don't get to decide what "doing anything wrong" means.

Ja, bestimmt. That was my point.

Several years ago I went into an unnamed discount store, bought some Christmas items and a galvanized trash to stuff all the Christmas wrappings in after everything was over. After I paid for everything the clerk put all my purchases in the trash can. I walked out just like they packaged it and got accosted by the LP Nazi in the parking lot as I was putting the can in the back of my truck. He demanded that I open the can that they had packed and said he was going to call the police if I didn't. I told him to call them. He did. A small crowd had gathered to see what was going on. When the cops arrived I opened the can and everything was OK and matched my receipt. They settled out of court for $5,000.00. This was in 1984 dollars.

So you sued them because they asked to look in your can to make sure the items match the receipt? I guess suing corporations is still about the easiest way to make money in America.

With all due respect that has got to be the silliest most outrageous connection I have seen here.

Actually it may be more of a disconnection. From reality.

I guess that whole "due respect" cover is out the window.

When they start applying electric shock to me for not producing my receipt then I will find a new place to shop.

Just ignore him, it saves time, and leaves your mood happy.

Do up realize that charlie sherrill regularly posts tales of his adventures as a deputy sheriff.

Threaten me with calling cops.
Call them, and let me make you look like an IDIOT!

Same story ( minus the trash can and pickup truck) with me at a SEARS Store, and probably the same year.
Right about same dollar amount award too.
Back then there was VHS store video surveillance, remember? They had "lost" the video too.
