Renaissance Wax

Yep

Midway or E...

Midway has it on the shelf or the bay for a few bucks moreish.
Careful though I waited three weeks for some. The seller with the best price from e... was in England where it is made.
I wish I checked the Midway sight, I never even thought of it.

Is was worth the three weeks though.

I just bought a 200ml can at a WoodCraft store in Louisville. The cost was $30. Check their web site for location. Rubbed it on with finger and used a q-tip for tight places. It is a great product. Pricey but well worth it.

Wax on. Wax off.

Please forgive me "donniedee". I just could not resist.

Use it just like you would on your car. Just be careful not to get it on the grips. I'm speaking from experience on the grips.

I've been using Johnson Wax for many years without poblems...$5 at Home Depot...

I use Renaissance just like on the metal of your car. Wax it, let it haze and then polish it off with a clean soft cloth. Shines like a babies bottom. I also use it on the wood stocks and the leather holsters and belts. Keeps the green crud off of your brass snaps and buttons.

pabner: Why not on the stocks? I shine up my diamond stocks and they look super. Just curious.

Renaissance Wax is amazing stuff that is a PH neutral product and is used by museums on all sorts of things including guns. Johnson floor wax also works as another member said above but I'm not sure if it is PH neutral.

RECENT CONVERT TO RENAISSANCE WAX

I finally was convinced by other forum members to try Ren. Wax. The stuff is great. My wood stocks didn't get slippery, either.
I used "Buy It Now!" on the 'bay, and had a 65ml can of wax here in 3 days. I waxed about two dozen handguns, and hardly made a dent in the level in the can. Used a clean patch to apply, and old t-shirt to
polish. You've gotta try this stuff! TACC1
