I don't know how it is everywhere else but it is hard to find a school around here that doesn't have a retired military or police officer teaching. Maybe because we are an army town with Fort Sill here. The whole school doesn't have to be armed just the thought of the schools not being a soft target will deture most nuts. There is no 100% fix for this problem or these disturbed people. I read above about locking down the school and having to be buzzed in, well I read that he shot the lock off the door and went on in. Even a janitor roaming the halls could have stoped this early if he had the means. And how he got the guns in the frist place. I read that his mom would take him to the gun range and taught him how to shoot. Whats up with that. I have a friend that bought a shot gun and they found out about it and made him sell it because he had a drug arrest when he was a teenager, now 65, Vietnam Vet on disability. The guy met us in the parking lot at the hospital and had to watch the exchange. There has been so much said about this horrible tragity and how much is true may come out in time. I pray for the family's and friends of these poor folks.
