Made this today.. goes in the oven at 12:00, Appetizers, Mimosa's, Bloody Mary's and my brother and I with a bottle of The Macallan Edition #5 between us. at 12:30.

Dinner at 2:00.. Bon Appititio!!

Probably get something delivered from Kelley's Country Cooking just up the road. Just me and Mom these days and neither of us wants to cook a big meal. They have a extremely good grilled catfish dinner with 3 veggies that I have not had in a while. Or, I could go for their breakfast tacos that are actually breakfast burritos. Two of them with a large side of hash browns would make a couple big meals if I pull the farm fresh eggs out of the fridge that I got from a work mate earlier this week. Two or three eggs over easy on top of the hash browns with a side of maple syrup breakfast sausages would work as a second breakfast out of that meal.

well... Saturday grilling was a success

grilling turned out pretty good... venison, pork chops & bratwurst.. green beans, mushrooms & mashed potatoes.

Going to be a quiet day, just wife & I. We are going to have homemade tacos.

But, by golly, that lasagna ditrina posted has made me hungry. I love lasagna so much my wife thinks I'm related to Garfield.

Fried crappie here maybe a few catfish if I catch some in the morning. Wife may balk on fish since I've cooked it 3 times in the past week but I tell her you can't beat them fresh crappie the ain't gonna bite this good till winter again.

Lamb in the oven. Seasoned with pockets filled with olives/fresh garlic/bacon plugs. Pepper and fresh rosemary on top. Will cook to rare in middle.

I got overruled on the Hot Pockets. The boys want me to order burrito boats, soft tacos and tortilla chips with salsa from Taco Casa.

As I mentioned in another thread...the weather has allowed me to open the windows. So, I have that going for me.

Which is nice.

Over the weekend I smoked five racks of ribs in my Orion. We had ribs, potato salad, cucumber salad and hot rolls. I used a mix of mesquite and apple wood - I'll be tasting smoke for the next few days!
