Well it was bound to happen. Payed to much for a .32-20 with no cylinder stop

It’s a 5-digit serial number .32-20. What are the odds a more modern version will fit?

You can probably find the correct one on eBay or Numrichs site. It’s the same as the later prewar 38spl’s.
 
Slim to none. You probably need a cylinder stop for a revolver that uses the screw and spring that is in front of the trigger guard.

Please post a picture of your revolver with the side plate removed.
