A pretty nice M29-2. Dropped into my gunsmith's shop to pick up a rifle he transferred in for me and saw this in his case. "Is the Smith for sale"? "Yep". "How much"? "$500." Hmmm. I checked it out and all was proper except the force required to open the cylinder. It also had an Austin Belhert target rear sight with a heavily narrowed front sight via someone's file work. A call to Smith had a new front blade on the way and the parts box had the correct rear sight. A little Flitz, a little troubleshooting (with help from the folks here) had the sticky cylinder opening solved and all is good to go.
