Creme Brule
Tres Leches cake (at least the one I had in San Juan, Puerto Rico. The one I bought at Publix was plumb nasty.)

Peanut butter blossoms, the pb cookie with the Hershey kiss on top.:D. It used to be the kids job to peel the kisses. Surprising how few cookies you get from the pound of kisses when the kids are peeling them:rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes:

If you want to try a dessert that'll automatically put a good twenty pounds on you...and you won't even care...ask Old Bear for his pound cake recipe. (Actually, it's Paula Dean's recipe, but I got it from Fred.) It's downright sinful...but who cares? Just keep telling yourself, "It's the Holiday Season, and besides, on me, it looks good!":D

Everything comes second after Creme Brûlée! ;)

I don't eat a lot of sweets. But when I do I like pies the best.

Pumpkin, Apple, Pudding or Keylime. In no specific order.

My Birthday is a few days after my brothers. He got cake. Mmmm Good. But I always wanted pie. Happy times.

Sisters lemon icebox pie using mothers reciepe. Mothers apricot fried pies using cheap canned biscuits. Daughters coconut pie using her grandmothers recipe.

You can't beat "real mince meat pie", not the candied store bought stuff. The real thing with hog head scrapings. It's about
as hard to come by as a girl to darn your socks!

Come on now. I will believe a lot of things, but really, a girl that darns your socks. No way, not today.

The previous mention of chocolate cake brought back a memory;
Devils food cake with fudge icing (the kind that gets a crust, not buttercream), and canned peaches on top with the juice soaking in the cake not the icing!
Of course homemade vanilla ice cream (back to the uncooked eggs ) goes well on top of devils food cake!

Have always loved dessert!!!!!!!!!!!!

Icecream. I like the lumpy ones.

Rocky Road
Tin Roof Sundae
Fried icecream
Reeces

Pie

Pumpkin
Sweet Potato

Cake

Carrot
Upside Down
Most any cheese cake
Pound cake
Angel food cake
Pancakes, various

Cookies

Nothing like a fresh baked chocolate chip.

In general, anything with peanut butter and/or chocolate.

Rice pudding on occasion.

I'll eat Cream of Wheat occasionally with a tablespoon of sugar, tablespoon of butter, pinch of salt, and whole milk.

I used to eat frozen Snickers bars but that's hard on the teeth.

Haven't had it in a long time. Raspberry or strawberry schaum torte.

PIE!

Pecan is my absolute favorite. I also like key lime, Pumpkin, blueberry.

Eclairs and most anything with chocolate.

Neopolitan with chocolate and bananas.

Chocolate or Lemon doughnut.

Ice cream sandwich.

BANANA PUDDING.

Is Ambrosia dessert??? I could eat a few pounds of it anytime.

"Green Stuff" (Congealed Salad)

Brownies

If eating Greek......Baklava (or 'baked lava' as we call it)

Mexican...Sopopilla

Carrot cake with cream cheese icing (the more nuts, raisins, pineapple chunks, and coconut the better)
German Chocolate cake with caramel icing(the more nuts and coconut in the icing the better)
Cherry pie
Chocolate cream pie
Fruit cake (the more nuts and candied fruit the better)
Strawberry rhubarb pie

#1 My Mothers fresh picked Blackberry Cobbler! With a scoop of French Vanilla Ice Cream on the side.

2nd would have to my wife's Grandmothers home made fudge with black walnuts! NOT English Walnuts! But southern black walnuts.

#3 Jack Dainels cake that my aunt Francis used to make. And her Mississippi Mud Cake wasn't any slouch either.

It's a southern thing!
