What Are Your Plans for a Wild New Year's Eve?

Caj, you’re just too funny sometimes! I’m going to open up a Christmas present and celebrate the Steelers’ win.
Oh, congrats to the Baltimore Crows!

Ham mashed potatoes green beans and biscuits for dinner. Watch the ball drop then peel the cats off the wall when the fireworks go off and off to bed.

Might be a bit quieter tonight though with the weather being a bit rainy.

Happy new year to all.

We have big plans.

Mrs. Chad requested fried chicken livers and scrambled eggs. I'll also heat up some croissants and make hash browns.

You couldn't pay me enough to go out!

Now that brings back memories from the mid 1960's when my Mom would pan fry chicken livers and warm up leftover Oyster dressing and mashed potatoes....haven't had it since then. My bride and I did our fair share of partying at the O club for New Years Eve around 51 years ago, but now...a good dinner some TV and in the bunk by 2200.:)

Oh boy do I remember the chicken livers and oyster dressing. Could not stand either one of them but back in the day if it was put on your plate, you sat there until you ate it. Lots of water and very little chewing. I even tried dragging the dressing out over the plate, so it looked like I had eaten most of it. Didn't work dad said eat it so I ate it.

We went out for bibibop at a really good Korean restaurant. Came home and changed into my PJs and I am currently watching Dick Clark's Rockin' New Years Eve on the boob tube with the family. Will probably hit the sack around 10:00 because I have to leave for work at 5:00am tomorrow.

Just got back from dinner at Olive Garden with my wife, mother-in-law, son, and his girlfriend. This was my wife's idea. I figured the restaurants would all be packed tonight, but they were not particularly busy. I guess it's not a NYE party hotspot.

Soon it'll be bedtime. It's just another day on the calendar as far as I care.

I hope to stay up till midnight, to listen to the shooting and blastin'. Don't stay up that late much anymore.

10:42 eastern. I made it this far but I’m fading fast. We had bang bang shrimp, calamari and homemade pizza and wings. Just watched a pretty good movie “ The Marsh Kings Daughter “ on Prime. Couple of bourbons (ok 3 actually) think I’ll turn in…….. Happy New Years !

I had the leftovers I brought home from when I went out to celebrate the Browns clinching a playoff spot. I had a couple rounds of unsweetened iced tea and if I'm not careful I'll fall asleep in the recliner.

I deduce that this forum (or just the thread) are of the same age group. For Mr and Ms Tim is was pork back bones and Beans cookin all day in the crock; followed by TN whisky and bed by ten. See you all next year and best wishes

OMG I haven’t followed pro football for sometime but if the browns made the playoffs - it’s time to go large on the power ball. And Sweet iced tea!

Just for you I’ll be rooting for the Browns. Best in the new year.

The Pack will be back.
