What Caliber Do You Have Most Of?

.38 Special and .357 has, and always will be my "bread and butter" handgun caliber. There isn't anything I will find where I live, on 2 legs or 4, that a hot, heavy .357 HP can't handle. Everything from snubs to scoped .357's, I shoot them from 0-300 yards.

I like .44 Magnum, but will never own as many as .357's. My Ruger Super Redhawk .44 Magnum is my "go to" .44 Mag, with my Model 29 being more of a "looker" than a shooter. A standard .44 Redhawk is on my "to buy " list too, and also a .454 Super Redhawk. Once you start getting into the "mega magnums" you're talking revolvers that can replace a rifle out to 3-400 yards. A hot .454 has more energy at 300 than a .45 ACP has at the muzzle. My .50 AE AMT Automag can pierce 1/8" of steel plate at 50 yards.

44's win out over everything else. Three ruger redhawks and one super blackhawk so far. I'm eyeing the S&W 29 next maybe if the price is right on a new one. Bill
