Last week my SIL relayed a situation to me I found almost hard to believe. She and husband were setting in a business driveway waiting to get out into traffic. Across the street a woman was doing the same thing but had to stop short of getting out on the main street due to traffic emerging from other driveways thus blocking area where sidewalks might be but were none in this area. An individual walking along the edge of the street in the grass area just kept walking in a straight line, right up on and across the lady's fenders and hood and right on up the street.
Made me wonder what I would have done, and what would have happened had she threw the car in reverse and dumped the individual onto the driveway.
Hard to believe what this world is coming to and the arrogant SOBs living in it.

Meh. Old 44 Guy and I are of a similar mind. Jerks abound and you can spend your day fretting over them or move on. I would be upset if someone walked across my truck, but it's not worth the potential of serious injury to dump them on the sidewalk. Had the woman done so, she might be liable for both criminal and civil action. I think there are worse examples of "what this world is coming to." Who's the arrogant *** if someone is killed or paralyzed by your actions?

I give everybody chances....

....other cars, pedestrians, truck drivers. Other people can act the way they want to.

And yeah, a lot of people are more entitled, privileged, devoid of feeling and thoughts for others.

What others said: Crazies happen.

The walker made a point of being a jerk, but giving in to your impulse to be a jerk back while at the wheel of a few thousand pounds of potentially deadly weapon is always a bad idea. A briefly satisfying feeling of "take that!" isn't worth the possible legal trouble or getting someone seriously hurt, when the only "threat" were some scratches.

the arrogant SOBs living in it.
I am going to go out on a 'limb' here and guess his one was of a more athletic 'nature' than some others, probably felt his life 'mattered' more than say some others, and probably lives with the probability of meeting his end by MUCH less weight than a vehicle, but more like something in the 115 - 230 grain weight category....

If I am walking and a car is blocking my path then I am going to stop and let the car make its move. I am not liking the idea of walking in front or in back of the car because I take that as a possible danger for me.
Walk over the car....yeah that's about a jerk reaction to a jerk inconsiderate driver. If I can't get out onto the road before a person walking comes along then I do back up so they can proceed without danger from me. I don't go for who got there first trumps courtesy or safety. Moments of carelessness or stupidity can't be taken back sorry to say.

I know what I would have done, but I wouldn't be able to respond right now because I'd be in cuffs.

Seems kinda mean and entitled, but that's just my opinion . . .

I carry a milkshake with me at all times for these very reasons.

Those things are sticky, but not dangerous if thrown.
