What do you carry in your range bags?

Don't own a range bag. Gun goes either in a holster or a school bag, ammo goes in the school bag. If its a lot of smmo i just bring the box it was shipped in. Show up at the range and shoot.

I have a bag for my AR-15 that i take to the range. It holds 2 rifles, plus my M&P 9 and Shield, plus pockets for ammo, mags, ears and a few small tools, and some lube for the AR.

But living in Vermont, i spend more time in my backyard than at any range:D

Another vote for the squib rod. I've never had an "unintentional" squib, but I have pushed the envelop of bunny fart loads to the point where it has come in handy a time or two or when I accidentally forget to run a chamber check on a new gun with ammo that is loaded long for a different pistol where it runs fine.

Pistol ammo, magazines, push pins for hanging targets, ear muffs and extra plugs, a small multi tool, uplula in the range bag. Pistols and rifles carried individually in separate cases. I have plastic ammo cans with loaded AR mags and 15-22 mags. I keep a small first aid kit in the car at all times along with a towel and a few extra boxes of CCI standard velocity 22LR ammo.

Eyes, ears, Uplula magazine loader, small monocular, screwdriver kit, stapler, cleaning rod (squib rod). In a small zipper bag I carry a few pairs of foam ear plugs, small bottle of Remoil, hex key set, a High Standard magazine adjustment tool, a small box of staples, and band-aids. The band-aids usually go to others when a hammer bites them.

At least one bag, sometimes 3 if going to the outdoor range.

At least 2 guns usually more
ammo for each (usually about 2-3 times more than I plan to shoot with different varieties of target, hard stuff, defensive stuff, etc.

glasses/hearing( plugs and muffs
uplula loader
marker/tape

To the outdoor range I take a hammer and a rubber hammer.

I started carrying a screwdriver an a small cloth.

If I get a jam I can't unjam, I take the gun home and shoot the others.

I'm SURE that there has to be something else, but I KNOW I carry this stuff.

It would behoove me to carry a first aid kit at least until I know how to consistently hold a semi, especially the sub compact.:mad::(

Guns, Ammo, Uplula, small cleaning kit, masking tape, clear and yellow eyes, internal and external ears, pen, small notebook. Looks like maybe I should add a small first aid kit.

If you have nothing else. A couple of tourniquets. One can do an arm, but two may be needed for a thigh. They take little room, easy to use, inexpensive, and can mean a life saved.

Just as the title says let's hear what your you carry I've seen from the simple stuff and some that looks like they cleaned their safe out lol

The following items live in my range bag at all times:

Range keys

Hearing protectors (2) (I may take a friend who does not have these)

Safety glasses (2) (same reason)

Break Free CLP

Uplula Magazine loader

Cleaning rod, brush, jag, patches, shop rag

Safariland belt hook for hearing protectors

Assortment of tools that I have needed for simple jobs on the range (I have learned by experience and added over the years) including screwdrivers, punches, Glock disassembly tool, hex keys, torx wrench, Wilson (I think) folding tool for 1911s, bushing wrench, front sight tool for AR; etc.

Although no longer used, I keep a few full moon clips and a tool to remove brass from the full moon clips.

Staple gun with extra staples

Toilet Paper roll (you never know)

I have a separate bag for ammunition.

Empty zip lock bags to put carry ammo from carry pistol while shooting ball ammo for practice.

I usually have around 300 rounds of ammo, mags, ear-plugs and earmuffs, 2 sets of glasses, rest so I don't have to use one of the community ones at the range, large and small paper plates as my targets.

2 eyes,
2 ears
ammo
mags
mag loader
small tools
1rst aid kit
small towel
target hanger, required where I shoot

Ears, eyes, cleaning kit, multi-tool, flashlight, ammo, and a couple microfiber rags in a back pack, then I have my shield, m&p 15-22, and all my mags in a long gun hard case

I like to keep it simple. The less you bring, the less you can accidentally leave behind.

I bring my ammunition, magazines and Uplula mag loader in my pad locked ammo can that goes in one bag and in my range bag is my Hornady pry-proof, triple bolt drum lock steel handgun storage box, 3M 33NRR ear protection as well as 32NRR 3M ear plugs, Revision brand ballistic eyewear and a baseball cap (I rarely wear one, so I just keep a dedicated ball cap in the bag so I don't have to deal with shell casings hitting my forehead. It doesn't hurt. It's just annoying and I don't like the distraction). That's in the main compartment; in the side compartments, I have a little towel so I can mange perspiration when taking a break and a North American Rescue Ipok Kit (better to have it and not need it and all). There's also a pen and a compact flashlight.

I keep the front and back slots empty for exchanging business cards with folks I get to meet on the range, as I tend to be a pretty friendly guy and when people sometimes talk to me about what they do, where they like to go practicing, or they're an NRA certified instructor, I like to keep in touch.
