I agree but some are claiming "night problems" might start at 6:00 PM. I am more inclined to think they start at 10:30 PM. 5 AM is a busy time in a rural ranching area.
Are you apparently alone at a self service station or in a 48 bay truck stop?

Knowing your surroundings is the best way to approach this.
