you saw a 95% or better example? I said BUY it,have the money or do whatever you had to do to get it? Not what you would LIKE to have or WISH you had,but one you would BUY! Just curious.

A marlin model 60 (?) levermatic in .256 Winchester mag or a original winchester model 92 converted to it.

Gonna buy a new Shield today. I have the money and hope it's 95% or better....

... but that may not the intent of your question.

There are a few:

Winchester 97 with Damascus barrel.

Marlin 39 (old model, not more recent)

Winchester M52c

A few I would get now--providing I could find one for sale? and afford them?

1) an original Sharps Carbine.
2) a Winchester 73 or 1894 version.
3) a Walker.
4) An alloriginal Kentucky long rifle.
5) a nice Musket from the Revolutionary War with bayonet.
6) A Martini-henry from about the Zulu Wars time.
7) a WWII German MP-38/40--preferably the MP-40.
) A Civil War era Springfield Rifle.

I bought a 640-1 Pro Series last week on an impulse. Great looking, well thought out with trijicon night sights and no lock. I never thought I'd buy a modern S&W, but after laying my eyes on it, I had to have it.

I'd buy a S&W 57/657 3 inch in 95% in a heart beat. Do I need one, no? But would buy one just the same providing I could afford it.

Not a doubt in my mind, this.....

A shorty 9 & a Shorty 45. Also, product code 170344, which is the PC model 1911, Round Butt. Because, "You just can't have too many 45's!"

Rifle - Stevens Favorite, maybe like one of the Shutzen models. I've got a 629-4 3" ready to swap for a nice one.

Handgun - Model 27 3 1/2"

IIR the Model # correctly a M631 . The 4in Kit Gun in .32Mag.

Also a .38-44HD . But instead of 95% , I want a mechanically VG , but with a period aftermarket Nickle refinish. That way , I could afford it , and shoot and carry without feeling guilty.

O.K.! I'll play! If the money were available and if the gun were available, I'd buy a nickle 2 1/2 inch Model 19 in the box w/ the documents and tools. I'd want it to have the white outline rear sight and a red ramp front sight. I'd want it to be pinned and recessed. And... I'd want it to have just enough of that 95% condition that I could then order up a nice holster from El-Paso so that I could then carry the revolver and shoot it and use it and really enjoy it!

Another thought... just because I'm on a roll! If I were to see a nice post-WWII long action M&P .38 Special snub-nose w/ the two inch barrel and half-dime front sight... with either square or round butt grips... numbered to the fun... I'd buy it! Period! No fiddling around. If it has the box, papers and tools, I'd buy it and then head for the doctor's office as I'd have to get my arm set from breaking it trying to get my check book out.

These are the two guns that I find myself really wanting. I do think it'd be a hard thing to choose between either one. Which ever one showed up first would likely be the one I'd buy first.

Savage model 12 BVSS in 22-250 caliber with a nice Leupold varmint scope of some kind.

There are two. A 4" blue Colt Python and a Colt Detective Special. The former is approaching impossible dream status. The latter is doable. Finding one is the trick.

any smith 22,22 mag,32 mag......prefer stainless but not real picky...also been looking for a ruger sp101 2 inch 22 cal.........
