What hobbies do you have besides S&W ?

History, especially military, aviation and naval history.

I just picked up the Osprey book on MiG3 aces. The MiG3 was a pretty but dangerous to fly aircraft, overshadowed by the more famous Yaks and Lavochkins.

I don't have any others, there are some interests, but they have gotten less interesting as time goes by. I don't play golf, not interested in sea cruises, I've visited every place in the world that held the slightest interest to me, done every thing I've ever wanted to do. Shooting is my retirement activity, if I'm not shooting, I'm either fiddling with something shooting related, or thinking about shooting (or fiddling with something shooting related).

Hunting, kayaking, boating, and four wheeling. I always had ski boats but I'm 55 and don't care about being in the sun all day so my wife and I just rent a boat a few times every summer. I love college football and my wife loves tailgaiting at my Alma Mater, Oklahoma State. I bought a cheap four wheeler and have started riding with buddies and like to take camping trips to the mountains of Colorado and NM, and currently am checking out bigger and nicer four wheelers.

Besides firearms and hunting, I also have two collector cars, 1 1957 Chevy Bel-Air 4-door Sedan and a 1965 Chevy Impala Convertible. Trouble is between work and our short summers, you sometimes only get a few chances to drive them. But I enjoy the heck out of it when I can!!!!

I also have some old John Deere two-cylinder tractors. This one is the first one I remember using on the farm, and it was my dad's main tractor for many years, until he upgraded in the early 70's to a JD 4020. The other two collector tractors are a 1938 JD 'D', and a 1950 JD 'G', both of which still need some work.

Finally the Lionel Train Layout that my dad and I built in the mid-90's. He's gone now and with other priorities, it doesn't get much use anymore, but I try to keep it going and do still buy stuff for it now and again.

Sometimes I just feel like I'm spread too thin!!!! I think I need to retire!!!

I have a fairly diverse mix of guns and shoot airguns quite a bit.

A motorcycle is ridden daily but that's more transportation than a hobby.

I used to do scale models but lost patience for it.

Lately I've been driving these cheesy RC cars with my boy.

I'm into music as well. My favorites are on a 3600 song play list.

Both me and the boy got bows this Christmas, so that's another skill to master.

Hobbies? Don't have the time for a lot of hobbies. I enjoy shooting my S&W revolvers and my RIA 1911. There are two ranges nearby. One I pass on the way to the hospital, the other is not far from one of the hospitals. After visiting church members, I can usually drop by one of these ranges and shoot my pistols. They have no facilities for shooting rifles. To do that means a 180 round trip, so my rifle practice, etc. is limited.

I do enjoy jogging, an activity which I pretty much do every day. Usually I jog for 45-60 minutes. When time permits, I may go for a couple of hours or so. As well when possible I very much enjoy going for walks w/ my wife. Our dog Molly enjoys accompanying us. I enjoy golf but nowadays I simply don't have the time to pursue it on anything more than a limited basis. When the season is in I enjoy hunting both small and medium game. The past few years my access to land has been very limited. This year a church member made it possible for me to again do some deer hunting, a privilege for which I am very grateful. In years past I have enjoyed vintage military rifle shooting. Over the past several years participation at my club has declined to the point that such matches are now infrequent. However, I still enjoy practicing and shooting my own little matches. I shoot against myself, about like playing golf. I know the stages where I am normally strong and those where I struggle. If I have a good day or a bad day, I know it.
