Okay flick for the time.

Eli Wallach, in the Good, The Bad, and The Ugly, after shooting his opponent from under the suds in the bathtub: "if you're going to shoot, shoot, don't talk".

From the movie Hot Fuzz...

Sgt. Nicholas Angel has just seen his first action movie, Point Break: "Well, I wouldn't argue that it wasn't a no-holds-barred, adrenaline-fueled thrill ride. But there is no way you can perpetrate that amount of carnage and mayhem and not incur a considerable amount of paperwork."

"do you believe in jesus?,,,,,,,,,,,well, youre going to meet him."
paul kersey, death wish II

"Gentlemen, you can't fight in here! This is the War Room!"
Peter Sellers, Dr. Strangelove

"I love the smell of napalm in the morning... The smell, you know that gasoline smell... Smells like, victory"

Unforgiven-Little Bill Daggett: "Look son, being a good shot, being quick with a pistol, that don't do no harm, but it don't mean much next to being cool-headed. A man who will keep his head and not get rattled under fire, like as not, he'll kill ya. It ain't so easy to shoot a man anyhow, especially if the s.o.b. is shootin' back at you."

and

Unforgiven-Will Munny: "All right, I'm coming out. Any man I see out there, I'm gonna shoot him. Any sum****** takes a shot at me, I'm not only gonna kill him, but I'm gonna kill his wife, all his friends, and burn his damn house down"

'Quigley Down Under' has many great lines.

My favorite is towards the end when Tom Selleck's character, Quigley, is caught and dragged, is near death and the MEC(main evil character) wants to face him in a gunfight.

He, the MEC, remembering that Quigley doesn't use a revolver and thinking that will give him an edge takes Quigley's Sharps away.

Quigley has to face him and two others with a sixshooter stuck in his belt.

Quigley shoots all three and as the MEC is dying with a puzzled look on his face Quigley says "...said I didn't have much use for one...didn't say I didn't know how to use it."

Good thread, Preston

The Outlaw Josey Wales has a bunch of them. One I like is Granny at the old store when she says "all that big talk don't mean doodlie squat".
