In keeping with the rules I don't want this to be about politics, I'm just wanting to know what is the best source(news channel or paper) for news that is politically neutral, unbiased, and gets the story straight. I tend to be a conservative Republican but I want accurate, factual news not a news station that tells me what I want to hear. I've noticed with young people today that they stay on certain websites that follow their interests and beliefs and they are fed news or forum comments from people that may not have the facts straight. The current hatred towards police is a just one area where people are reading or listening to a lot of misinformation. I believe many of the web based media is paid by how many "hits" they get on their website so their agenda is not to provide the facts but to sensationalize a story that draws people's attention and prompts them to click on their news story.

Fox

I would have to go with FOX cable news. On occasion, I'll watch other news sources and there is definitely a bias to the left. It is readily apparent on gun control issues.

You need multiple sources and you need to go beyond the sources that reflect your political bent.

I read the New York Times daily. I also read the Washington Post and Wall Street Journal daily. (Internet subscription rates are modest)!

I also watch CNN and Fox News.

I think you need to do your own analysis and not rely on your 'news source' to do your thinking.
