I probably should not buy any guns this year and up grade my tractor.
I've got an old late 30s Ford with the front mount distributor that has a mind of it's own. Starts only when it wants to.

Anyone else seen the new 8N 'Boomer'. I love the looks of this tractor.

Have you seen the price tag? I like the concept but you can buy a bit more tractor for the price. I own 6 8n's but the new one is just a copy of the color scheme, in my opinion.

1952 Harry Ferguson TO30. Has Wagner loader on one end and a hoe on the back.

I've worked this so hard and so long, I'm surprised I haven't busted it.

I agree with you . . . I wonder if nostalgia is selling these days in tractors. It seems to be hit and miss with cars.

I haven't seen one in a pasture or field and the local NH dealership still has the first one they got in. Nostalgia is nice but the economy probably can't support it.

These are my friend's daughters'

I'm running a John Deere 5303 (56 hp) at the acreage I call a "farm". I grew up in N TX working mostly with Farmalls, later a John Deere, and finally with a Minneapolis Moline. When I was researching tractors to buy for my place I found that the vast majority of tractors under 70 hp are made mostly in India, or at least the vast majority of cast iron parts come from India. My JD 5303's transmission came from India, the diesel engine from France (I understand the engine was actually developed as an engine to be used in irrigation) and the tractor was assembled in Georgia (I think).
