I was at our local Gander Mt checking out the handguns when I saw some kind of S&W 22 auto pistol that I've never seen before. It was new, stainless steel/silver color, target style, the slide was large and square(like a glock). I couldnt see the model# or price but the tag did say S&W. I came home got on the S&W web site but couldn't find it. Anybody else seen this pistol other than me?

That sure is it but I swore the tag said S&W. Kinda cool looking.

I looked at both the WaltherSP22 and Berettas Neos when I was shopping, as well as MarkIII. I found a deal on a S&W22A which I like better between all of them.
IMO the Walther felt toyish and Neos looked toyish. I'm sure they are both fine pistols, personal preference I guess.

I saw this pistol advertised recently. It bears a striking physical resemblance to the Walther SSP. The model designation is also very similar. I paid about 2K$ for my SSP last year from Earl's.

can't beat a 22a for the money. I've got 2k rounds through mine without any significant problems.
