I carry at just about 4:00 in a Milt Sparks VM II. I find this 1) very comfortable for all day carry, even while driving, and 2) very accessible for quick draw from under concealment garments. I carry either an S&W M13 or a 1911 in either Commander or Government Model configuration. More typically the M13.For those of you unfamiliar with the "body clock," 12:00 is your belly button, so to speak.
I always carry my Glock 19 at the 4:00 position in a Fist #1A holster (similar to my old Alessi Talon that I wore out, and unfortunately Alessi isn't around anymore, but Fist makes good stuff) or a Milt Sparks Summer Special 2. I have tried appendix style carry but the guns seem to print more in that position, and more importantly, it feels horribly uncomfortable whenever you sit down. I know there are people who like appendix carry but it just doesn't work for me.
