Cabela's seems to be getting them regularly. However you will pay a premium. I paid $350 for my 40cal. They seem to be the best place for ammo as well.

The Academy's in my area can't seem to get them in. Folks wait in line every Wed & Fri when the trucks come.

I'm not going to wait in line to get a gun or ammo. I can't wait until folks start wising up & quit panic buying guns & ammo. It's only playing into the hands of the gun haters.

$350 is overcharging you. Like I've said before, right now is the absolute worst time to be buying any gun. Of course there are still some places that haven't started their price gouging yet (walmart). Maybe $350 was the price last year too, I don't know about your area. In mine, they were $60 less ($289). Here in OH the gun stores are screwing people to death. Ammo has jumped from 20%-25% a box. Some handguns are well over $100 more than they were in DEC. I always keep a close eye on prices in my area and right now it makes me sick to see people getting shafted like they are. Either they are not aware of the price hike or just don't care. Actually I think there are alot of folks going out lately and making their first gun purchase. The gun stores prey on these men and women.

Im in central Ohio and the gouging by some lgs is getting out of hand. There is one store in town who's prices don't violate the Geneva convention but of course they are small and very low on stock. I got my .40 on gunbroker for $350

Got bored, and hit my LGS today. Guess what they had... SD9 brand new for $450 asking price. Asked my boy to let me pick her up, and got her for $350 out the door! Juiced! $350 grand total OTD in CA is as good as it gets. Just need the Blued/Black, and collection complete. #Triple A's Sporting Goods.

I bought a new SD9VE today for $289 + tax at Dunn's Sporting Goods in Marion, IL. The third gun I've bought from them this year and they've all been well below MSRP. These guys are definitely NOT gouging.

Stopped in at Academy Sports in Mesquite today, and they had both the SD40VE and SD9VE for $299. I wasn't planning on buying one, but at that price, I thought "why not?"

I couldn't dry fire it in the store, but when I got out to the truck, I did, and I was very pleasantly surprised. The trigger is nothing like I remember it being! It doesn't feel all that much heavier than the M&Ps I have had. It is, of course, but not all that much. I sure am glad I bought it. I don't know when I will ever find additional magazines for it, but since it has two 16 round magazines that will do for now.

I looked at Academy's website a few minutes ago and noticed their prices on the SD9VE and SD40VE had jumped to $319. Glad I got mine last Monday for $299. BTW, I'm new here....first post.

I payed $329.00 then had to have it shiped to my local FFL dealer pay a transaction fee of $25.00 and that was it.Thats after calling every Gun Dealer on Google that i could find no BS i called everybody no one had it.Finally i got it from a guy who sells cars and guns Barrow Automotive in Butler GA he had one SD 9mm VE left with my name on it he said couldn't be happier with it works great.Now about ammo that's a whole other story damn people are crazy one guy wants 40 bucks for a white box 100 count winchester 40 bucks when they have them at wal mart there $23.98+ tax

On the website at Academy, they are listed now at $320 and they have not had any within 1 100 mile radius. Glad I got mine before at the good price.

Got my 40 in Jan for 299.00, and my 9 tis month for 319.00. I don't think it was price gouging, just a swing in gun prices, I've seen the 319.00 price before. This was at academy, they told me they get them in several times a week.
