My inner kid would like to play with a Model 69 .44 Special, but I have STILL never even seen one. Plus I haven't ever had much luck loading .44 Specials, and do have a .45 Blackhawk Convertible that is scary accurate and never leads.
For some reason I failed to grab a 1917 Smith ($29.95, delivered to my door, US mail) in my vanished youth. I keep hoping that some little old lady will bring one around someday "just to get it out of the house".
The next time I plunk my hard-earned cash down on the counter, I would like to walk away with a 696. I don't know if I'd call it my Grail Gun, but certainly a Goldilocks Gun, because it's a big bore caliber sized "just right" for a wide variety of uses. I like my 5-inch 629-3, but it mostly collects dust. A 696 would see a lot more use.
I would like to find a nice 2 1/2", or 3" K frame revolver. Maybe a 10,13,15,19,66, or something like that. I will always stop for an L frame in any caliber, even though I couldn't afford to shoot it much.
Actually looking-hard at the Ruger Match Champion GP-100, in 10mm. Since, S&W has no-offering in this caliber. This would be nice to rotate with my 610's.
