What site is this on my Md 14-6

I assume this was not a factory site on my Md 17-6 but it sure fits and looks nice. Can any one tell me what it is or if it could have left the factory this way. Thanks.

Thats a Millett rear sight, added after the gun left the factory.

Where is the best place to find an original and what should I have to pay for one?

Brownells should have them. I think they're about $60.
