What to do around northeast Ar. or southeast Mo. ?

If you get over around Berryville in NW AR I believe go by the Saunders Museum. Went there back in the early 90's and they had a great gun display. Guns supposedly used by Billy The Kid, the James boys, Bell Star and a lot of others. Had everything from an old Japanese hand cannon to the latest thing going when he passed. Even had one of the first Colts sold to the Army.

Not far from Mountain Home and also not far from MO. Branson is just a few miles up the road from there.

I would like to thank each and every one of you who took the time to reply with tips and ideas on what to do.

With only a week looks like I will be plenty busy.Lots of what was mentioned sounds interesting.

I might need to take another week off when I get home to recoup from my week of R & R.

Thanks to all. :)

Lots of golf in Cherokee Village and over at Horseshoe Bend if you're into that. Mountain View, an hour or two SW is a cool town, particularly if you like bluegrass or OT music. Hardy is good for a day if you're into antiquing. I actually much prefer the NW corner of the state; the Bella Vista/Bentonville area, but it's more than a day trip. The Pea Ridge National Battlefield Park is a favorite place as are the new Crystal Bridges art museum in Bentonville and A.G. Russell knives in Rogers. I personally find Eureka Springs way too touristy for my taste, but lots of folks love it.
