What was the last NEW S&W you bought and when did you buy it?

Here's my new 686 that I bought in January. It's my nightstand gun.

NEW S&W BUYS

Tons of old mdl 10 police 38's, for app 35$/per when they were upgrading to 357's in the 70's but only 1 totally nib retail EVER 2006? a 617 that was supposed to be 4", that arrived as a 6" that I couldn't let go of once in my hands & never had a problem, but could have lived without the lock. I was always afraid it would get locked & I'd lose the key, but that never happened. I've since sold it & spent app 5 years to find a good cond 4" for under 500$.

Model 60-15 about five years ago. Yup, it has the lock.
Neat revolver.

That is beautiful. I fully intend to own one of those (or it's 649 cousin) one of these days.

Was also my first semi-auto. M&P at Bass Pro in Aurora, CO in 2008. Had been researching for a while, finally decided on the Smith, went with 9mm thinking if I felt undergunned I could always go bigger later. Not happening. Very satisfied.

Also bought over 2000 rounds of ammo at that time. Very happy now that I did. :D

The last new S&W I bought was a 28 HP back in the early 70's. bought a few used Smiths since then but all used and most from the 60's and 70's.

617-6 last January.
Why?
Dead nuts accurate, 10 shots, speedloader compatible, my club's matches are all shot in 10 shot strings, dead nuts accurate, optic compatible with no drilling required. Did I mention that it's accurate?
Have completely forgotten the IL.
Excels at nailing golf balls at 50 feet.

The last new Smith I bought was a Model 642-2 I bought as my BUG last year. Great little shooter. Before that, it was a new 66-3 snubbie in 1990 or '91, and a new 4" 686 in 1987 or '88. Wish I still had that 686.

Late last year I bought this Performance Center 627. It is one sweet revolver.

6 inch 686 about 30 years ago.

Don

How do you like the gun ? Wrong Question. I know you like it. How do you like the 6 in.? I'm thinking about getting the new S&W 9mm rev. P.C 929 but its 6.5 in. That's long. Wish they made it in 5in.
That's my new gun. I put a deposit on it today. When gun comes in i will make my mind up.
