All right, I know it is Christmas and still 2011. But, i bet all of us have already planned, seen, handled or researched the first firearm we will purchase in 2012. Let's here what you want!

S&W model 29, 6", blued. The Dirty Harry! Watch out Zombies - Here I come!!!

Probably S&W 327 TRR8, matte black finish. My only problem w/this gun is 5" barrel, really want 4". Its twin is a oz. heavier (don't think i would notice that) called Model M&P R8. Both Scandium framed w/stainless cylinder.

The 4" barrel version of this gun is Model 627 (i do like this model) finish is Matte Stainless (leaning toward black) and this gun is 6 oz. heavier w/Stainless Steel Frame and Stainless cylinder. List is $320 less.

I think it will be one of those three. Advice welcome.

An AR. CMMG lower. 20" barrel.
5.56 (or maybe a .223 Wylde).
That's about as far along as I am in the decision making process so it might be a while before I buy anything...
Gotta sell my P22 first, too. Might even sell my charger and just keep my 10/22 and Mark I & III for my rimfire guns since I'm planning on an AR varminter.

The best deal! But I'm definately going to get a model 60. Then after that a Model 28 and then maybe another model 19 and then........ So many guns so little time.

The last of the year will be an Encore pro hunter in 243. I already have a S&W 500 barrel for it. I may or may not have 50 bmg upper by the first.

I will be going to the shop tomorrow. I saw a Walther p22 when I was there on Thursday.

There are many must haves on my list.

.22 revolver. You can bet it will be American made and old.If I get real lucky it'll be a K 22.

Get a S&W model 617 6" 22LR Matt Stainless 10 shot, you'll LOVE it !
I've shot more 22's at my home range and any other caliber. And out of all my 22LR revolvers, the 617 is best by far.

Now the gun i've been looking at getting most likely this week will be a 3", "The Judge" !
Already looked at some earlier this week.
Always liked the unusual, plan to shoot just the 410 shotgun shells though.
Already have .45 Colt 4 1/2" & 7 1/2" western style revolvers for them.

I'd realy like the idea of the Lyman310 model, so please give me a hint if any one knows of a set.:o

Our local group had a batch of AR 15 lower receivers with our logo. Hopefully they're finished soon. Also there are two 28-2s sitting in a pawn shop as they have been for almost a year. They keep turning down my offer but they'll take it one of these days.

I have been looking at a nickel model 15-3 the last week or so,if it hangs around a while longer, I will buy it. I don't need it, but it is hard to turn down a pinned barrel S&W.

im leaning toward selling my springfield 1911 5" or trading it in and getting a colt commander blued.

I just had my FFL order me a SIG 1911-22. That will be my first one in 2012.

One gun a month here in NJ.

For the longest time I've been wanting a 640 no-dash. However, lately I've been considering getting another no-lock 642 first. They're less expensive than the 640s I've seen and have easier access to replacement parts. After the issues I've had getting the hammer nose replaced on my 65-3 I've begun considering the potential for needing repairs. I know I will get both eventually, though. It's just a matter of which one to get first once I get the funds together.
