What will be your first gun of 2012?

I'm thinking I'm finally going to break down and buy an AR.

I've been on a revolver kick for the past year and despite getting sidetracked by an HK P30, and a Walther PPQ, I'm getting back into the sixgun groove. So with that said I'm looking for a Smith model 65 for an everyday revolver, plus it'll fit neatly in with my just found 66-2, and 686 no dash!
Then I'm gonna find me a nice Walther P-1/P-38. I always liked its sinister looks and they say their quite the shooter too.
Then I'm getting a Winchester 92 clone, I've had enough of the AR, AK stuff too last awhile, it's time to have a working rifle that no one will pay much mind to...till I want them too! Dale

s&w model 60 .357 magnum with a 3 inch barrel will the first gun i will buy in 2012.

Only a Ruger P95 and a H&R Handi rifle in 300 Blackout with threaded barrel are on the 2012 list . I wanted a 1911 but after i got my 4566 I lost interest in a 1911, unless it's in 10mm!

If I can find one, a 686-4 (or a 685-4) These models come D&T for a rail and I need an optic fitted gun for matches at my club.
Don't want to D&T any of my older smiths.

If I have any sense there will not be any new guns in 2012. I`ll work on paying off the mortgage.
But I`m not sure I really have that much sense.

I added more guns to the safe this year than I planned. Don't regret any of them - plus, if it comes to it, they can always be sold (it's hard to lose much money on guns). But, the gun kitty is running low. I'd like to try the trigger on the new Ruger LCR 22. If the trigger is OK, I can see picking one up. Not too expensive.

I had a chance to see one of the new S&W 43C's at my LGS, and that's the first one on the list. No lock!!! It'll make a great companion piece for my 442

I'm reeealy jonesing for a 3" S&W revolver. It will probably take me the better part of the new year to build up the gun kitty again (unless I sell one of my semi autos) but that will be my next purchase in 2012

It might be a Commander size Kimber 1911. My dealer has a couple slightly used ones I mean to check out soon.
Either that or maybe one of my grail N frames if I can find them. The 58 and 3 inch 57s have evaded me all these years so far.

I just rebuilt my gun fund and the money is burning a hole in my pocket.

Depending on the deal I stumble upon, these are the guns on my checklist for 2012.

1. S&W Model 66 with 4" barrel with box & papers.
2. Remington 1100 12 ga. Skeet model
