What will be your first gun of 2012?

Just got them both today. A 28-2 4" that's "Cherry" from a forum member and a 15-3 nickel 4" LNIB that i picked up at the gunshop that did the transfer on the model 28.
Here's pix of both:

Well, I thought I would be getting a Governor or a 625, but a friend of mine is giving me a, too good to pass up, deal on a barely fired Gen4 Glock 17. 400 for the gun, all the accessories he acquired, and a Laser Lyte.

I already have 2 hi cap and 2 low cap 9mm mags, a kydex holster and a 2 mag carrier for the fullsize Glock, so all I need is 9mm! Add that to the 3 hicaps a Gen4 comes with and that adds up to the start of a nice starter collection of mags.

It will probably make me want a 940 that much more!

I had planned for my first gun of the year to be a 2" Rhino. Well, for some reason, I stopped by the LGS a couple of days ago and spotted a post war M&P in need of adopting, and I jumped on it. A nice working early K frame in fairly good working shape for $240 out the door is hard to pass up in California. I'll be helping it escape the state in a couple of weeks! Oh, and I have a bead on that 2" Rhino as well, just started talking to a guy!

It was a tie....

between a very nice older S&W 10-5 blued with 6" barrel and an AMT Backup II in .380 acp.

This is the second time I've owned a .380 AMT Backup and the third one I've owned (1st was a 9mm). I couldn't resist the $150 price tag which included a spare factory magazine as well. The 10-5 was a wallet beating $325!

Followed me home today...

NIB Beretta 96FS. I have a 92F so really can't justify this but WTH when I have to justify a purchase, then it's time to hang it up...

Forgot to add: Thanks to forum member for the 28-2 in pix above. Appreciate it Clint
All things Smith & Wesson

Looks to be an AR-15, a SIG 522 and a Walther OSP 25 meter rapid fire pistol in 22 Short. All purchased within a week of each other.

625 PC

Here is another vote for a 625 PC. Just ordered it this week. Hope to have it at my local dealer next week.

I bought a very nice WWll vet bring back, CZ 27 with a battlefield improvised shoulder holster off Guns America on New Years Day.
The seller turned out to be a super guy to work with.
Can't do any photos right now, camera is back to Nikon for warranty work.

I also put a CZ 24 in layaway several days ago. The wife is so proud of me.

My first weapon of the new year was a cold steel TI-Lite VI. the first hand gun was a H&K uspc 9mm. My first long gun has yet to be determined.

Failed on a trade for an old .44 hand ejector this week.

Went to auction yesterday and got an 18-3 with rosewood football-cut targets. Less than $500 for a gun with no bluing loss.

The .44 wound up up the same auction as an unadvertised entry and went for $620 dollars.

I got this Colt Peacemaker Buntline .22 this week.

I had a Frontier Scout when I was a teenager, but liked the Peacemaker better when it came out in about 1970.

It's 1- 14-12 and I just put a deposit on a pre victory model in .38 S&W with a 6' bbl. and matching number's. I hope to pick it up on 1-17 -12.

It will be a Smith & Wesson 686 Talo edition w/3" barrel. I went to my local gunshop today to put it on layaway but it had been sold on Saturday. So they are ordering one for me....... should be in by Friday..... I knew I shouldn't have waited till Sunday..........

not a smith but it's a wesson

I've been looking for a Dan wesson .22cal. for about 3 years.
A bunch of our bowling league buddies came to our house new years eve
we got discussing guns, and one of them said, I got a Dan Wesson .22
I don't shoot anymore, I need to just sell it.
Sometimes they come to you, !!!!! with enough patience.
