What's for dinner?

Tonight it's country pork ribs and FRESH brussel sprouts (BS and local corn made their debut this weekend)! Around here anyway …..

They were a little fatty but picking thru, the meat was delicious! And the sprouts? Always the highlight of the meal for me!

Absolutely LOVE me some brussel sprouts!

The lady down the street from us about Mom's age has been wanting to do something for me what with all the 'fun' we have had with Mom's seizure. Mom got out of the hospital today and into a rehab facility so Pat took me out to dinner. Italian food. I got the shrimp scampi and I ordered some stuffed mushrooms to try and keep us away from dessert but Pat decided to get the cannoli. So she 'made' me order a piece of tiramasu. I brought home a couple mushroom caps and half the tiramasu but I am still stuffed.

Baked spaghetti squash topped with homemade meatballs, fresh tomatoes, green and red peppers, feta, Parmesan cheese seasoned with salt, pepper, basil, "mural of spice" and a drizzle of olive oil.
