Whats happening inside your safe?

My safe is located in an environment where the temperature is a constant 68 degrees year round and the humidity is very low and doesn't fluctuate much. The only thing inside the safe is firearms. No humidity or temperature control stuff. Never had any issues. And it likely helps that everything comes out periodically throughout the year and sees a little range time and gets a good cleaning before going back in the safe.
Exactly same. Safe sits in my basement which is 3/4 underground. I don't know what temperature is down there but it's cool. Probably 65 - 70 degrees since I keep the main floor at 71°

In my old place I kept the safe upstairs. Never used any gizmos or thermostats and never had rust issues and that includes when my water heater in the basement burst and I didn't notice for a few days ( pinhole leak in pipe). Water and condensation everywhere and guns were still fine

Why they just might turn up the temp on that fancy wall hung thing and make those solinoid valves open right up, let that massive amount of water out of the vessel and then, bamm, a bleve of your own, courtesy of you know who..... No way-no how, not us.

Then there are those new fangled 'smart' power meters..............
