Another comparative factor to consider, as between the .41 Mag and 10mm Mag, is the range of bullet-weights and styles in each caliber.
With the .41, it's pretty limited.
With the 10mm Mag, you have a wide selection, ranging from 135gns on the 'light' end up to 230gns on the 'heavy' end, and jacketed or hard cast, FMJs or JHPs.
Great point on the range of 10mm weights. One of a number of reasons why 10mm is far more popular than .41. .41 Mag is so limited in choices and so hard to find (just as it was before the panic buying started) that i've passed up on some good looking and low priced 57s, and a scarce PC 657. Already had some 10s and .44s anyway.
As already pointed out, 16 rds of 10mm in a defensive carry gun is no joke. Still waiting to see a .41 mag variation that will carry 16 rds.
My EDC is a G29 (w. G20 mag), and in comparison to a N frame that is worth more than 3 times the Glock (that holds nearly 3 times the number of rounds) they are similar in size...except for width, of course.
I love the 610-2, but my favorite woods carry gun is the G40 with the FF-III in a Kenai chest holster rig.
