What's the story behind your User Name?

It's always fun to find out the reasons behind people's User Names, especially on gun forums.

This being the best Smith & Wesson forum on the web, I chose mine from the first names of the founders of S&W - Horace Smith & Daniel B. Wesson.

What's your story?

I was shooting bowling pin matches with a .45 ACP around the time I got on the Net.
So started using ACP230 as my handle.
It stuck with me even after I ran out of pin matches to attend.

I wasn't allowed to use my initial name. It was used for about a week and torpedoed. I couldn't think of one off the top of my head, so I went with my shield# 27145 which I carried until I retired.

It was the best thing I could think of. I'm not sure it means anything other than it sounds sort of gun related.

Wish I had a better story.

Nothing to do with guns, just from Alabama and love Alabama football. Not really a biker but do love riding motorcycles all though for the past couple of years it seems I just can't find the time to do it much.
At the time I couldn't think of anything else.

I've had people ask me if I was an ornithologist, but if you'd seen my picture you wouldn't have to ask. But the handle is popular, so I added my lucky number twice on the end to be unique.

I live on Pintail but that was taken on some long forgotten forum I joined so as Pintail is a duck went with Pinduck and it was accepted so been that ever since.
