My guess would be that the notches in the cylinder are in the wrong place.
 
The first thing is its facing the wrong way unless you want to hide that it has an iL which is what the factory does.
My guess is some sorta 620 L frame ?
The cylinder almost looks K frame but when the stop notches align with the flutes it's an odd number of rounds so 7 shot.
The right side relieved stocks are generally found on comemoratives with engraving so my guess those were added ?
Once upon a time the caliber was on the barrels right side IIRC, Guessing its a .357.

Wait is it a flash chromed hammer trigger?

The 620 never ocurred to me.
 
Grips are for older revolver and cutout on right hand side, I believe, unless my believer is broken.

No S&W logo on either side?

Hard to see, but the S&W logo is on the L/S just below the cylinder release.

The relief cut on the right side is what makes them "presentation" - but that's not it.

Someone almost got it.

We'll let this run a while.
