a 617 always goes to the range with me....accompanied by either a 66-1 4" or 29-2 4"

My favorites are not my K22 Target Masterpiece or K38 Masterpiece as one might expect when looking at the choices; but instead a model 10-6 4" HB and a nice old 1905 M&P change 3 with 6" pencil barrel. Both those old nickel - plated, fixed - sights .38's have the smoothest action. Along with their original stocks they just look and feel so authentic. On the 7 yard range the 10-6 is spot on with a 6 o'clock hold, but to get best results from the old M&P it takes an 11 o'clock hold -- fun stuff.

Favorite Shooters

I really like the 44 Special. I have several that I take to the range. You can not beat them for accuracy. I recently acquired a 44HE New Century Triplelock that stackes the rounds at 25yds. It is my newest "best" shooter. My days at the range always include one of the 44s and at least one of my 38/44s. I am fully addicted to the N frame S&Ws. All the 44s are either 2nd or 3rd models.

Model 25-2
Model 14-2

Both are soft shooting and super accurate when I shoot revolver matches.

Two favorites my Model 15-3 that saved my life

Favorite shooter

Would be this Model 65 3". I believe I've posted this photo several times before.

Tough, great action, just about as accurate as my 4" Model 15 (which would be my alternate choice).

Anyway, works for IDPA or concealed carry or just shooting away at the range.

Lost then found again...

My first S&W that I was unable to keep. I just recently replaced it with this one...

4" Model 19 Nickel

I've been in possession (not the owner...that's my son) of a 6" K-22 that was my Dad's.
My mother gave it to me after the funeral.
Shoots like a laser!! Helps keep the ground squirrel and gopher populations in check. That gun must have 7-8 thousand rounds through it.

Tough choice between my 3" model 10, 4" model 64 and 2.5" 66. If I had to pick one it would be the 2.5" 66-4 because I like the sights best.

The .22 would be my 34 4".

Pretty much any 4 inch K frame in either .38 Special or .357 Magnum.

Those are Maple grips from Ahrends.

Nice to see another shooter from here in the Adirondack Mountains.

Mine would have to be my first revolver, a S&W 10-5 that I picked up for $200 at my LGS. It's got period correct Bill Davis target grips and just shoots where I want it to.
