Out of all the .22 semi-auto rifles out there , what is your favorite.
My best shooter is a CZ 512, my best play gun is the S&W 15-22, I like the vintage Remington Nylon 66 and 77, I just picked up a Mauser Black Lightning for something different. I have a Mitchel Arms AK22 which is an accurate iron sight gun, super simple and reliable .

Fun at the range the Smith 15-22 is a hoot to shoot

Walking in Penns Woods...... one of my Ruger 10/22 Internationals/mannlichers..... now that we can hunt with semi's in Pa.

A CZ 512 peaks my interest in .22mag.. wish there were 25 rd mags available ....... I've got several CZ rimfire bolt guns and they are all shooting in the minute of angle..... .22lr at 50-75yds the .22mag out to 100 and beyond.

That's a easy one to answer. My Browning .22 take down, Belgium manufactured in the early 1960s. I saved up a bunch of money I made snow shoveling and bought that beauty when I was age 16.

A much simpler time, my father a years or so before gave the dealer permission to let me do my own thing. The gun cost about $55 MSRP at the time and the dealer gave it to me for $52 and threw in a 50 box of shells.

Yes I still have it and it sits front and center in my safe.

The Browning SA-22. I've been in love with this rifle since the first time I ever saw one in a Sears store some time in the early sixties. :) Mine is made by Miroku, but I'm perfectly happy with the quality. :D

Some members had stated that there weren't enough posts with photos in them, so I took a photo of my SA-22 in the house, in the dark. Sorry for the poor quality. I guess something is better than nothing. :)

Had 2 Ruger 10/22s and liked em but would not trade my American Compact in 22 magnum. I am a fan of the shorter barrels and this one fits the bill. Those stock modules are a great idea.

By far the most fun for the money.... Ruger 10/22, Tactical Solutions barrel, reworked trigger, Pilot suppressor and custom stock. Shoot all day for $5.00.

Three shot groups inside a dime all day long at 25 yards.

Original Armalite AR-7 Explorer. Not the most accurate, but not bad either. Have a couple spare mags for it and it's a great plinker. Love the retro "camo" plastic stock.

Another vote for the Win 63. Have had one for years. One I've
had for over 50yrs that was mint condition when I got it is still
ticking. No function problems and accurate. I have had several
others over the years and they were all top quality. When I was
a kid I wanted a Browning. They are fine 22s also, but decided
I didn't want one when 1st one I shot threw hot brass down my
9yr old sleeve. Later on I owned a couple of them and they would
be my second choice. The Win 74 & Rem 550 were good guns
for the money but didn't compare to the older milled guns. Rem
had some good Pre WW2 guns on Browning patents that were
also well made. The last good semi 22 was the Ruger 10/22
until they started cheapening it. Now there is no US made semi
that I would buy.

Which ever one I happen to have in my hands at the time.:D
I can't beat my Clark Custom 10-22 for accuracy. Killed a bazillion ground squirrels and prairie dogs with it. The 1522, as everyone here knows, is just plain fun; mine also has served as my go to night time varmint killer.
