What's your favorite Smith 9mm.........?

I love the single-stacks. I have 2-3913's, a 3953 and a CS9. Seems strange to me but I actually shoot the 3953 the best - even better than the 3913's in single-action?!

MY FAVORITE....

That would have to be the 6906. perfect size. not to big to carry, not to small either. very accurate, comfortable and great to shot! The fit and finish is nice also. A nice looking gun also. I think its one of the best guns i have EVER owned not just S&W'S. It's a keeper.

Here is my favorite 9mm - 1911

My best 9mm; some say its not a real 1911 because it has an external extractor but since the day I got it it has never FTF or FTE. It didn't need 500-1000 down the barrel to "break it in" with a couple trips to the factory for reliabilty. Nor did it need a reliability package at extra cost.

That extractor is the size of a steamshovel but it gets the job done. Its about a soft shooting as you can get at 41 oz empty and its accurate as heck - even with my old eyes.

How about .356 TSW's, 9m.m. on Steroids?

My choice .356 TSW (9 m.m.)
Love them all.

OK, enough is enough, I'm sure you all get it. LOL

Disclaimer:
Some of the pictures I have borrowed/coppied, because I have not gotten around to take pictures of mine yet.
But their all for real.

You just had to ask. Well, my 3913 is by far and large my favorite 9mm handgun. In fact, it's my only 9mm handgun, but that aside, it is really a fantastic gun. I do have a High Point 9mm carbine for cheep fun, but the 3913 is my daily companion, tucked away in its Crossbreed Super Tuck holster. What a combo.

My only Smith 9mm...just got her on Wednesday. Ran about 50 rounds through her today and dialed in the sights. Nice:)

Only have one Smith 9mm currently and that's a first run 6904. My favorite however is the 6906 with Novak night sights.

CS9 or 669

Doesn't many shooters like the CS9 or 669. I just purchased both and haven't shot either one, but the CS9 seems to be a very good carry pistol. Any information on either pistol would be appreciated I am just now getting into the auto's I have always shot and carried revolvers.

Your 669 is what is known as a 2nd Generation Smith auto (1st the 39/59 and 3rd the 39xx,59xx,69xx), it is the father to the 6904/6906 that every one likes here (the 391x series is single stack version). Any double stack 9mm magazine for the 59/469/669/69xx) will work in it. The larger ones will stick out the butt a tad. Still good guns.

The Cheifs Special 9, is a 3rd Gen and a smaller compact version of the 39xx series. Not possitive but believe any of the 39/39xx series mags will also fit. Enjoy your Smiths.
