whats your latest brand new revolver purchase?

686+ 3" (-6 Model)

Three Screw Swing Out Cylinder Hand Ejector :D

Bought new July 2012.

A stunning revolver in every way.

I just bought mine Sunday and fired it for the first time today!

Love this thing, very accurate and fun to shoot. I had a hard time choosing between the 2.5 and 3 inch (and 6 inch ). The 3 incher won out.

Nothin beats a new S&W!

My last new S&W revolver purchased was a 351PD 1/13. It's been a 'dry spell', for sure!

As mentioned in it's own thread, my latest purchase is the M629 Deluxe 3" Talo .44 mag/sp.

I honestly can't remember ever buying a new Smith & Wesson revolver. I was on a Smith waiting list once for about 3 years. (a .22) My 625 JM was as new, but isn't. You guys did not tell me that you can buy NEW! Have some autos I have bought new though. Bob

What sold me was that the 3" has a full length ejector rod.

I'm kinda thick sometimes and it took me a while to figure that out, but once I did that was a big factor for me as well. It should be practically as easy to tote around as the model a half inch shorter.

I'm a snub-nose revolver junkie so I'm sure I'll end up with a 2.5 incher too. :D

Went to a local gun show two weekends ago. Saw a model 21-4 Thunder Ranch .44 Spl in a really scruffy looking presentation case. Figured the gun had been around the block, the price was right, not a bargain for a used model but reasonable. The lighting in the show was really poor but the gun looked good even if the case was beat up. Took it home and put it on my work bench and readied everything to clean it. To my surprise it appeared to be unfired. Ran a dry swab down the barrel and cylinder, nothing but dust. The gun was in new, unfired condition. I don't have safe queens, it performed great at the range.

I was buying a M&P .45c at my LGS and saw a raffle for a wheel gun, I bought one ticket and joked about throwing away $20. A month later they called me and said to come down and pick up my new Performance Center R8 .357. 4' barrel, 8 round cylinder, tuned action and trigger a true tack driver out of the box. I carried a Colt .357 for 17 years and always thought the Python was the greatest revolver in the world but I would put this one at least on the same shelf. Amazing gun.

627 V-Comp Just bought it yesterday and fired about 60 rounds of .357 through it......all I can say is WOW !

Wow! Great luck there. Congrats.

I just snagged a sexy M66-1 2.5 last week (to replace one I traded for a P220), it's the first revolver purchased since May when I snagged a pristine Lew Horton 629 3 inch.

Traded a new 29-3 nickel for a new Ruger GP161. Its waiting to go to Cylinder and Slide for an action job, re-crown, and some cylinder work. I have one S&W pro series revolver and two Performance Center revolvers. I wanted to try something else in a revolver.

I got my new 66-8 2.75" a couple of weeks ago. Shot it yesterday and it is outstanding. Just before that, I traded into a 4" like new 586. It shoots very well also.
