whats your latest brand new revolver purchase?

With everybody getting all these revolvers can somebody tell me why my lgs has been trying to get m27 and m29 for me for a year now. He said the suppliers are always out
sorry jealous coming out:)

Uberti Horseman, 7 1/2" barrel, .357 magnum caliber.
It shoots very well, exactly where I aim. I am quite happy with it. Makes full house .357 loads pleasent to shoot.

My last new non-S&W revolver was a 4 5/8" stainless steel Ruger Single Six .22LR/.22Mag with adjustable sights. It's wasn't a normal catalog item, something Lipsey had for awhile in 2007-2008 (IIRC). Maybe they still do, I dunno. Up till then, the short "gun fighter" barrel Single Six in stainless with adjustable sights was kind of a rarity.

Just purchased a pair of 686 CS 1's in 3" bbl. Keeping one, don't know about the second one.

Sir,

I was told by my LGS that Smith had shifted all of its resources away from the handgun market to the long-gun market.

FWIW category! :(

Had to have it Model 24-3

I was looking through some internet auction sites and came across one selling an unturned S@W Model 24-3 that was fully engraved, and with stag grips. Owner had no idea who engraver was. I did some online research and found an engraved S&W with identical engraving being advertised as a factory D engraved by S&W. This caused me to buy it. Will be sending for letter. Seems to have extra numbers on yoke, not model or serial no? I think that this might be one of the Lou Horton 24-3 that might have been returned to factory for D engraving? Serial Series ALA 26XX. Additional NO. Stampings on surface of yoke are B18 with the No. 15332. No turn ring, and appears unfired. Love the pistol and it was intended for personal carry. Not sure yet exactly what I have? Don't want to fire it until I know if a Factory D engraving?

I'm the proud owner of a new Model 69...

First new S&W I've bought in 8 years. Couldn't be happier.
Same here. I posted somewhere on this site a wish list for an L frame 5 shot 44 magnum a while ago. The K and L frame fit my hands better. Then they made it. When my LGS had three come in two store employees and I went through them separately and decided which was best overall. We all came up with the same one I bought. VERY happy with it. Buffalo Bore 255 grain Hardcast are my favorite load.

A beautiful 6", very lightly used 586 (no dash) at the new Cabela's store here in Barrie. Sticker price was $429. I had a "VIP" discount card bringing price down to $386! I almost went into cardiac arrest but knew I wasn't leaving store without it.

Latest purchase

Earlier this year I purchased a 686 Plus Pro 7 shot but I still had a desire to own an older model S &W. I was torn between the Model 19s and 27s. I finally found a slightly used 4" Model 27-3 with nickel finish that didn't cost an arm and a leg. It also had the red insert in the front ramp site and the white outline rear site which really helps to increase my accuracy. I love both of them although the newer one has become my go-to gun to shoot the most. I recently replaced the Hogue rubber grips with a pair of Ahrends retro target grips that fit my hands better and I have also ordered a red fiber optics front site which I really like on my .45 XDS. Can't wait for it to arrive. Now my only question is whether to get a Model 19 with a blue finish.

Bought a new 442 from a police supply store on Halloween, 2013. First new S&W since 1987. Stays in my front pants pocket always unless I am at work where unissued firearms are prohibited.
