What's your most accurate Revolver?

This one's pretty good, but it's beat by these:

If the .38 wasn't double action only, it might be the best overall. But the .44 is the best easily at 100 yards.

3 inch Model 64-4, first time I shot it I loaded, let the barrel go to its happy place and fired dbl action, speed reloaded and did it again. All 12 in the face from 21 feet. Never had any hand gun point so naturaly. It's a keeper !

Small bore .22 M17 8 3/8, medium bore Dan Wesson . 357 15-2 8", big bore Dan Wesson .44 mag 10", the DW's have a huge advantage with the barrel being tensioned on each end. You can actually move the groups by tweeking the barrel tension nut on the end of the shroud.

My Thunder Ranch mod 21-4 in 44 spec. is the most accurate revolver I have in my hands.

I have two Thunder Ranch model 21-4's in 44 special and another model 21-4 I carry as my CCW. All three are very accurate and fire to point of aim with the 200 grain Silvertips. I just picked up some Corbon 44 special 200 grain DPX (Barnes Bullet). Hope to try some out Sunday afternoon.

C'mon, every one's got their favorite shooter. is it that model 15 with adjustable sights? or maybe a model 19 you use for single action revolver? Maybe a model 27 that just shoots double action revolver like no other. Which one hits that mark more often than not ? Or is it another model? 52?, 17? 41?

My absolutely most favorite most used most accurate and most positively adored revolver is my 18-3. In front of witnesses I have fired six shot groups off-hand at 65 yards that measured 5 inches across. In 2004 I used it in a standard draw and fire type match fired on B-27 targets. I did not own a holster, so they let me use a Beretta 92 holster holding the revolver in w/ my left index finger. I shot a 242/42X. Later I put a little dab of white nail polish on the front sight and found that that just about eliminated fouling up in the 9 ring. I have owned this revolver since about 2002. I have had a lot of revolvers over the years that were very nicely accurate. But this one takes the cake!

This 625-8 PC.

Gosh, that's hard to determine. In center fire, the Pre27 is great, but the 686 is it's match. My 17-4 is a tack driver, but with the right ammo the newer 617-6 is it's equal. A couple K38's are about the match for the 27 & 686, and the 15's are no slouch. In fact AI don't think I have a S&W revolver that doesn't meet my expectations.

my 17, or maybe my 586. the 17 is easier and cheaper to shoot so i shoot it more... that being said a 586 in 4" is a damn accurate shooter.
