Alma?
Sweet Sporty!! Is Alma near Gunnison? I seem to remember a HUGE bear there in a cafe......

Sprefix, thanks. Alma is in Park County on Highway 9 between Fairplay & Breckenridge, a bit from Gunnison.
The Sporty is the '06 XL1200R (last year for carbed version) that has been "breathed on" a bit by a local guy that builds bikes his wife races every year at Bonneville. I changed out the rear shocks (13.5" Progressives), fork springs (also Progressive), added the fork brace & Metzeler 880 tires. It never ceases to amuse me & suprise a lot of other riders as well. Funny thing-this is the second time I've owned it. Sold it on a whim when I thought I was going to get a Fat Bob-never did-then the guy called me when he ran into some tought times. He had put only 437 miles on it.
