I miss the political forum. It was always my favorite. I'm not alone, it seems. To me, it seems less people contribute.

Frankly, I just enjoy a good discussion of differing ideas.

I almost always disagreed with R Walter, but I enjoyed his point of view. I think our diversity defines us.

I'll miss the political forum. It seemed to "seperate the men from the boys". You could easily tell what somebody was "made of"...if you know what I mean?

Yep, I miss it too.

We may be "singin' to the choir," but it is still great to be able to vent about things that matter deeply to us all.

Sigh . . .

Others express their fellings better than me, Tom, Charlie, Captain Steve, Cajun, Barb and many more. I don't always agree, but enjoy interplay. This column made me think, actually search my views for substance. Passion is a wonderful thing, it makes our country great!

It just seems diluted here now.

I have noticed a lack of interest in posting in this area. Both new discussion and replies.

This seems like grits without salt, or if all ice cream was vanilla.

yeah but we like to raise cain in here!!! you get everyone heated up, then a liberal gets cute and the fun never stops. before you know it everyone is all over hussein obama, which is the point anyway.

I was just reading the owner's thoughts on this, and it is wasting bandwidth in this forum. He want's to stick with second amendment related discussions.

He want's to stick with second amendment related discussions.

And I respect that!

I just like the f1rst amendment too. If someone goes over the line, he/she will be edited.
