Mine is a picture of Dick, the best cat I ever had. He was a Bengal, my best friend, and I lost him to cancer just a year ago at about 5 years of age. I always said he was the son I never had. A spectacular cat.

I am sorry.I understand only too well the sorrow of losing a much-loved feline friend. I have similarly suffered the recent loss of a much-loved cat; she died from end-stage renal failure.

My avatar is a favorite cartoon character, "Marvin the Martian," that I remember from my childhood. He wanted to destroy the Earth because it blocked his view of Venus, and Bugs Bunny always stopped him. I remember Marvin declaring "Oh goody! My illudium Q-36 explosive space modulator," and "You make me very very angry, very angry indeed!"
