Where do you stash your gun when you have to go..............

Not that uncommon. My dad found one in the bathroom at the PD, a Glock 22 was found in the restroom of the bagel/coffee shop I frequent. PD responded, took it. A little bit later a guy in a suit comes in, turns out he's FBI, the manager explained where his pistol was.

I usually place mine on the tank, & then I start repeating to myself over & over "don't forget your gun, don't forget your gun". The other day I was at an LGS that I'd never been to before. Nature called, & I proceeded in my usual manner. I finished up, when out to the truck & headed home. I absentmindedly slapped my right front pants pocket(I pocket carry) & didn't feel anything! Luckily there was no one behind me because I locked the brakes up, pulled over, & headed back to the LGS at top speed. Almost all the way back, I looked into my drivers door pocket. Yes, there it was! I'd forgotten that since it was a long drive back to the house I stashed the pistol in the door pocket for a more comfortable drive home. It still took a good twenty minutes for my heart rate to level out!

Fart barf and itch have had guns missing for years due to this.

Worked with a guy who left his personal vehicle in a parking lot (daylight) and departed in his federal concealed identity vehicle, he headed down the NY state thruway for about an hour and realized he left his issue firearm on the roof of his personal vehicle, he did a high speed U-ie on the mall and drove about mach 2 back to the lot and as he pulled in saw it still sitting on the roof - two kids on bikes were doing a holding pattern around his personal vehicle eye balling his Glock - 1st chance he got he went to church and made a sizable $$ act of contrition. Safest place 4 handgun to be is ON YER PERSON except when in the shower.

I usually lay it in my pants, can't forget it there! A few years ago a little old lady walked in a Clearwater, fl pd with a h&k mp 5. Said she found it on a corner in the street. Turned out a cwpd detective left it on the roof of his car. I bet he got a *** chewing, it was on the 6 pm news.

That is the great thing about my LCP. It stays in its holster in my back pocket. It has came out of the pocket a couple of times at home, but the weight and balance check says there is something wrong and immediately corrected. Sometimes at gun shows when I wear something bigger I will always do what Gripgrabber says. Not so much to not forget it but to keep it off the floor. Larry

If I forget my weapon it means I've forgotten my pants and I'm sure I will be notified post haste.

On my pants or on the tank or on the toilet paper dispenser if it's wide enough. It's one of those things I can't forget. I'm not going to forget to pull my pants back up nor take my gun

Mine, never leaves the holster. While on duty the whole belt comes off, The pistol is secured firmly in the Safariland holster. In a open bathroom, I'll hang the belt behind the stall door on the bumper/hook.

While off duty, my revolver stays in my pocket, in a Kramer pocket holster. I do sometimes have to worry about it falling out onto the floor. I just have to be careful.

Carry appendix...take a seating posture with belt line at knee height ...keeps holster upright...can't be seen from outside of stall...ready to pull in case there is an attack from the zombie apocalypse or any other pervert who would try to take advantage of a man with his pants down......Weapon never leaves holster anywhere, anytime unless the worse is about to happen.

Add a pair of Sam Brown straps, aka suspenders for your gun belt and leave it hanging from your shoulders?

Who notes it depends on your Holster and required carry.

Maybe the Capital Police and the FBI should be required to have lanyard rings on all their guns.

Perhaps make them work a month with a whistle instead of a gun and their memory will improve.

Local deputy did something stupid with his gun, he got to wear an empty holster for a week. His performance improved vastly after that lesson.
