I never saw a M686 Deluxe but I have shot a Performance Center M686 and they are what a S&W revolver is supposed to be. Great trigger and very accurate.

Just love the PC 5". A great gun with alot of features. It can be fired with or without moonclips. And with an optic; its just a beast.
I'll never get rid of it.
Here's a pic of my 6" with matching Nikon red dots. I do prefer the Vortex, but I'm shooting ok with them. The dot on the Nikon doesn't seem as well defined as the Vortex. Thats my take on it.
