There's a story I'd like to read. I've seen rifles that were converted to centerfire but, IIRC, empty centerfire cases were not available. I've never seen rimfire cartridges in shootable quantities.

Before I kick the bucket I want to reload 11 mm Mauser. That one is a lot easier.

Nobody mentioned the 455
Maybe that caliber is more common up in canada ?
I just finished hand priming 4000 38spl cases cause i was down to 700 rounds loaded in the cabinet lol
100 rounds ... Heh heh thats cute ..

Impressive list

My response was post # 57 In that thread. There are not many posts in that thread that have as few cartridges as OP listed in the starter for this thread!

Any person who has shot a 100 rounds or more of .458 Winchester Magnum has my respect—A couple from a double rifle have lasted me a lifetime!

The Swiss ammo was never around in any quantity in the 80's, I just wandered around the OGCA shows looking. Dealers would have 2 or 3 rounds and I would buy the for a buck for the 2 or 3. the 32 Short RF was the same way, but every show I would go home with 25 or 30 of each and that kept me shooting.

The Italians used a Velliti rifle that was center fire, It looked about the same as the Swiss one. I have one that was converted to 6.5 Carcano for WWI, one of my few rifles that I have ammo for but refuse to fire!

11 Mauser reloading, I can help if your interested, PM me.

We got hillbillies around here that'll shoot a hundred 12 gauge #8's a day during dove season . . .

Heh, I'll shoot 100 a weekend right before bird season so hopefully i dont need to shoot but once a bird, and take my limit.

My list
22lr, short, and magnum
.38 special
9mm luger
.410,20,16, and 12 guage
Have shot a total of 3 10 guage shells out of an old h&r topper.... cured me of that idea pretty quickly.

I hate to admit it, but I have fired close to 100 rounds of 12 GA on a one day Dove Shoot.
That usually means you missed a lot!
One time I was E of Ft. Collins Looking for Pheasant Opportunities.
I’m on a gravel road and cross a fairly big irrigation ditch.
A pickup is parked on the bridge and there’s a guy on either side just blasting away.
I stop and look. They are shooting pigeons.
When they reload, I ask, why are you shooting these pigeons?
They say, We don’t like pigeons!
I noticed they were throwing the pigeons in their truck bed.
The next time they pause to reload, I ask why are you taking them with you?
We gonna feed them to hogs!
So I got our my 12 GA, shot a few and threw them into the truck.
That may be the day I shot the 3 Legged Squirrel.
I’ll tell that one another day.
It took me a long time to live that one down!

To many to list,

My 72 mossberg bolt 30-06 closer to 1,000rds. Still accurate as in 72 great western auto $172 rifle with scope. Nickel sized groups at 100yds.

With the 1911 it’s 250rds per range outing. The rest I’m over 100rds per outing.

I'm getting a bit of a chuckle over some of the comments about shooting
10ga. My hubby was a big time waterfowl hunter, mainly for the big Canadian Geese. He had 2 10ga shotguns, one was an Italian O/U and the other a Browning BPS. He followed the geese from Canada to Arkansas several years. That figured out 500-1000 rounds of 3 1/2 in 10ga hot loads each year. Never heard him complain.
