Which gun do you LIKE to shoot the most?

I love them all, but if I had to pick just 1 favorite, I would have to say my old Mossy 500 12ga. Have carried in in the field for over 30 years, in all weather condition, put 1000's of all types of rounds through it, and put lots of meat from pheasant to deer in the freezer. It has even embarrassed a few shooters at the skeet range. It's almost like it has become an extension of my arms. While it is a bit beat up, with many dings and scratches I wouldn't trade it for anything. :)

Come on now. Not even Ma Duce, everybody loves Ma Duce?

I shot the M2 some but officers seldom get a chance at the paddles. About the only thing I remember about the training I was required to conduct as armor officer, is the go/no go gauge. My last exposure to one was the day one cooked off a round before it was in battery at the hands of a soldier with heavy thumbs. I was far more familiar with the M60. Though it was quite effective, it, like any crew served weapon, is like dragging around a ball and chain especially in heavy undergrowth. Great for static placement on a transversing mechanism but a bear for a platoon on the move. My favorite in my service days was the M16A1 with the M203... Talk about a one man army! I could drop a grenade into a tea cup at 100 meters. Totally the most awsome weapon I have ever shot.

No matter how many guns I take to the range, my Ruger MKII and Springfield 1911 are almost always among them.

Tough one. Gonna have to break it down into categories.
. Pistol - Glock-17
. Revolver - S&W 24-3
. Rifle - Colt LE6920

Actually I love to shoot all my guns and the difference in how much I love one of them over the others is very very small. I would not have a gun I don't love to shoot. ;)

All of the Above!

It's definitely a toss-up between the 6" model 19, the 3" 629, and the 4" 686.

My Ruger Mk II Target model and my wife's S&W Model 36, nickel w/ 3" barrel.

My 6" model 586 no dash. For handguns
My 10/22 and AR's for rifles.
That was easy.

Well, my favorite WAS a Ruger 22/45 with a BSA red dot sight I used to have. I got silly and traded it off a few years ago and kept saying I was going to get another one, "one of these days."

"One of these days" was yesterday. Not a 22/45, but a MK III, I'm sure it will shoot just as well. (Same sight btw. I had kept that.)

At this moment this 1899 M96/38 Mauser Oberndorf Swedish Mauser.
It's so accurate it's scary and the people shooting the black plastic rifles at my range always stop and look at it.

lately ... Dan Wesson ECO in 9mm - Elite Carry Officer ... the most enjoyable gun I have ever shot ... I like it more than my Pythons and 686 models

For the handguns i would say the 1986 model Ruger Single Six with 22 WMR.. I have not fired the Kahr CW9 or S&W 1905 HE 3rd change in 32 Winchester yet..

For a rifle it would be the tack driving Remington 510 TargetMaster (1946) unrestored as it was my fathers first gun..fired less the 100 rounds since new.

I have lots of nice toys, but when the objective is just relaxing and getting in some quality trigger time, a few guns stand out. One is my fairly new Springfield Armory 1911-A1 in stainless, with a few upgrades and a 2-pound trigger kit. The older I get the more I appreciate a really good trigger.

The second is the Super Plinker, a Browning Buckmark that's older than most of my kids, and the gun they all cut their shooting teeth on. The trigger was good out of the box and has only gotten better over the years.

But my heart belongs to the S&W K/L-frames, and I have several. A 3" M-65, a well-worn M-15, the 686 snubby, and then my babies, the M-64's. The DA triggers are like glass, they fit me like a glove, and they point like they're laser-guided. I just stole another one off GunBroker this week, and might have S&W work it over again. I still carry a 64 on the job, so this is the model I practice with the most. It's a labor of love.
