Ok , up until now I've been caring A little 642 in a pocket holster , front pocket. Now I'm trying to figure out whats the best way to CCW my new M&P 45C ? I have to admit that I've put on a few pounds over the last 56 years , 6-2 , 295 so I'm not sure If I should go outside or inside the waist band ? Tend to wear pants kind a under the old belly. (Sorry , just keeping it real) I know every one is different but would like to get some feedback from those of similar build ? And of coarse which Kydex holster is best ?

I have a kydex from Panther Concealment Custom Kydex Holsters and Knife Sheaths

I have a 40 fs OWB. I love it, was lucky enough to do the same as you and now it saved me the "old drawer full" of holsters. I have no affiliation with this company. Great service, you talk directly to the craftsman who makes the holster.

From my experience, us taller folks have it a little easier when it comes to concealment than the smaller guys. So it shouldn't be too hard to find one that works.

I carried a Ruger P95 in a Kholster that I combat cut myself. From the reviews folks with bigger or heavier guns prefer this type.

For my Shield I use a all Kydex holster made by a local Airmen, JCC Kydex. All Kydex holster seem to be the all around holster.

My JC Custom Kydex (1-3 day turnaround)

Choose this type for me since I'm in slacks and button down and it tucks easily.

While narrowing my choices I almost bought a Little Foxx holster. It has several good reviews and think ill still order one for the winter time.

I have a Blade Tech that I use for everyday carry with my 9c and then I use the same holster in competition with my 9L CORE. It's OWB (I take up all the room IWB:eek:) I know, TMI.

If you're looking for a great kydex holster, check out JM Custom Kydex. Tony makes great holsters, close to the body, excellent and adjustable tension. I have the OWB for my 9c and Shield 9 and couldn't be happier.

I have an Old Faithful IWB coming on Monday for the 45c I bought about 3 weeks ago. This will be my third Old Faithful which must mean I like them.....

Im almost the same size as you at 6'4" and 265lbs. I ccw a 45fs in a comptac CTAC holster. I even appendix carry it from time to time. Appendix carry is actually how i'm going to carry full time when I get a holster I like. Gonna try out a JM appendix and owb soon.

Been using Raven Concealment Phantoms for many years, very satisfied. Also Double Tap Holsters OWB is excellent quality and very concealable as well.
